Rent a hide for photography
Pohtiolampi offers great possibilities to photograph or to take videos of Ospreys from the hides around the feeding pond
There are 11 photography spots in six different hides around the Osprey pond. All hides are well equipped with wall mounted camera stands, sandbags etc. In hides 2 and 3 there are two modest beds for resting and an electric outlet for charging the camera batteries.
For photographers (and other Pohtiolampi visitors as well) there are two (2) separate apartments with a twin bedroom. These apartments can thus accommodate a total of four (4) visitors, and they can be booked in advance through the online booking system.
During the summer season, you can book the appartments also in the café during its opening hours. The Osprey Foundation forwards all accommodation bookings to the travel agency Taigabird Ltd, which takes care of the accommodation arrangements.
