Pohtiolampi is located in Kangasala, close to the Tampere-Lahti highway no 12.

Driving to center:
Highway 12 via Sahalahdentie or highway 12 via Kisarannantie. When the gates to the Pohtiolampi area are closed you can leave the car at the gate of Sahalahdentie and walk. The distance to the Osprey Watch tower is about 300 meters.
